Return back in time, in a time Synthesizers were new technologies, when Analogic was at its golden age... It was almost 40 years ago. At this time, kings were called, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Klaus Shulze, Ash ra Tempel or Jarre and Popol Vuh...
When Digital technology came during the mid 80's most of that names were radically changing their styles and it was a great disapointment when i bought Tangerine Dream "Optical race" or "Lilly on the beach" because the magic of the analogic sound was lacking so much, that i decided to stop listening electronic music, then i discovered Genesis, Yes and Marillion... Nope, i'm not here to talk about Progressive Rock music such Yes and Genesis had played ! I'm really here to write and talk about "TMA featuring Martinson" and its real gesture on what was the essential of "Electronic Music", i do mean ANALOGIC SOUNDS!!!
A great return to the "KRAUTROCK" as it was in the mid seventies. If albums such Rubycon, Stratosfear, Tangram, Hyperborea, Tangram or Force Majeure, Cyborg , Irrlicht are remembering something in your mind, you will be so pleased while listening to the TMA CD "RAL 5002" an ethereal music not as cold as the name of its opening track "Arctic voyage"...
A great moment of magic as if the best Tangerine dream music was meeting the best ambient moments of Klaus Shulze with especially shorts reflexions of "BAYREUTH RETURNS"... Briefly, i just can recommend warmly those of you, as i was, fans of great Synthetic Music.
TMA is just for me that year, a great surprise as i was unaware about bands or projects trying to stay alive the Real Krautrock... A long and warm travel to the fabulous past walking alongside the polar bears! Simply great!!!
