WETTON ( John ) / No Man'S LAND ( LIVE )

Where he was, in KING CRIMSON , U.K, ASIA , URIAH HEEP, Roxy MUSIC , or again PHENOMENA , yes , we can tell with no doubt , the appearences of JOHN WETTON , that they're studio or publics , are quite remarkable .

Is this the same for this solo album LIVE recorded in POLAND ? . . . I think that it's displaced to pose the question . If you like U.K , ASIA or KING CRIMSON it is a real BEST OF that G.E.P has released . SOLE SURVIVER , IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT . . . Whole the best of JOHN WETTON that for the opportunity has surrounded STEVE CHRISTEY , Drummer of JADIS , Martin ORFORD ( IQ ) that appears here to the level of the best WAKEMAN , and a surprising DAVID KILMINSTER , the lone guitarist able to play with the spirit of the great ALAN HOLDSWORTH ( to my ears ).

About JOHN WETTON himself , if its voice has muted a few , he remains a gigantic composer , singer and bassist marvelously pushed by the MARTIN ORFORD backing vocals that appears , excellent , as he does with IQ . You will have therefore understood that if there is some cds indispensable "TO BUY" this quarter, NO MAN'S LAND of JOHN WETTON is by obligation of these !
An album very rich in emotion, and beyond all, a small Masterpiece ! >
